It can effectively clean the wood surface, while filling the wood texture, making the wood color brighter and shinier. It effectively prevents the wood from drying and cracking, fading, and prolongs the service life of furniture.

    What is 1/4 inch  plywood?

1/4 inch plywood is made by gluing together several thin layers of wood veneers. It is made from a variety of woods, including birch, maple, oak, cherry, mahogany, walnut, pine, spruce, Douglas fir, cedar, poplar, etc.

How is  1/4 inch plywood made?

The layers of wood veneer are arranged with the grain of adjacent ones running at right angles to each other for increased strength and stability.
The layers are glued together and then pressed together to form a single plywood sheet. The sheet is then cut to the desired thickness, usually 1/4 inch.

A: I am using this wood for laser cutting. I see no flaws in the gluing process that was used, no delaminations or errors.

A: Great wood. Clean and smooth. I build small boxes with it; it is straight, true, and tough.

A: Depends on use. It's great for crafts.

A: It is very good quality, at 1/8" it has a good weight and is much better than I was expecting when I purchased it. I use it with a laser engraving machine and it works well.

A: I pretty regularly need 12" x 12" plywood squares and try to keep a few on hand. The 8" x 12" boards limit things and waste materials.

To be laser engraved or cut, materials need to absorb the light emitted from the laser. Depending on the materials, the absorption of laser power differs. The reason behind this is the wavelength of the laser machine. Different types of materials absorb the same wavelength differently, causing varied engraving/cutting performance. Check here for a complete list of materials for laser cutting/engraving.
