From what I am seeing I can’t wait to have my hands on this machine the possibilities are over the roof.

We have historically used a cricut explore air 2. Not a bad machine… or at least I didnt THINK it was until we bought the M1 Ultra…. Holy moly this thing is so much easier to use. No more measuring vinyl. Just use the pin point positioning system or snapshot to establish the working area, then fit your design in to the box. EZPZ. Drag and drop…. Not to mention it also has a FREAKING LASER built in LOL. How cool is that???? The inkjet we purchased but haven’t tried yet. However based on reviews, I think it’s gonna be pretty cool.

Only bad part I’ve found is the slightly limited work area when compared to the Cricut, and lack of built in camera like its predecessor had (M1 non-ultra). The snapshot feature works really well though, so I’m not too upset about the lack of camera.

All in all we are super happy with this machine and excited to dig in to everything it can do.

My very first laser machine and after a few mistakes it works great. I’ve only done wood engraving but it makes excellent pieces once you get the XCS to work. I need a manual for XCS to go with the Ultra. It would be very helpful.
