What is cherry plywood?

How is cherry plywood made? 

Cherry plywood is made by gluing thin sheets of cherry veneer together with a strong adhesive, with the grain of adjacent layers being perpendicular to each other to increase its strength.
The layers of veneer are then pressed together under high pressure and heat, creating a strong and durable bond.
The finished cherry plywood is then sanded smooth and ready to be used.
