The 1064nm infrared laser module is particularly well-suited for engraving on materials that traditional visible-light lasers struggle with, such as metals (stainless steel, aluminum) and dark plastics. The infrared wavelength is absorbed more efficiently by these materials, allowing for high-contrast, detailed engravings without requiring additional coatings or treatments. The precision is impressive, producing fine lines and intricate designs with clarity.

Everything I have engravered has turned out great. Love this new laser has opened up a lot of new ideas to try.

This is a very easy install and works very well. I just wish it could do a bit more than it does. Best used for jewelry and other small items. I expected it to do more but consider that to be my lack of understanding about its capabilities.

XTool Makes an excellent addition to the shop. Solid machine mixed with great quality. My only complaint that I have, would be I wish I knew the infrared laser was an add on. I would have upgraded to a better machine as the price is the same if using an IR laser. However there equipment from the machine to the material is excellent and I have no complaints and will eventually upgrade. Would highly recommend their equipment and material
