PRODUCT INFORMATION

Compatible models: All Plywood can be laser-cut and engraved by all xTool machines.
Wide applications: The 1/8'' plywood is commonly used for making shelves, wall paneling, wainscoting, flooring, furniture, and cabinets. Additionally, 1/8-inch plywood is ideal for laser cutter projects, as it is thin enough to be cut into intricate shapes with a laser and strong enough to provide the necessary strength and durability for your project.
It is recommended to use the Beige White Masking Tape to apply to the plywood before laser processing to minimize the blackening of the plywood caused by the laser process, and to obtain the best results. Also, Beeswax Wood Polish is the perfect partner for creating plywood decorations. It can effectively clean the wood surface, while filling the wood texture, making the wood color brighter and shinier. It effectively prevents the wood from drying and cracking, fading, and prolongs the service life of furniture.
Attention: It is recommended to always run a test before performing the actual laser cutting project. When laser cutting thick plywood, it's advised to use high power and multiple-pass at a high-speed setting to reduce laser dwell time and heat-affected area to minimize the burning edge. For your ease, we've prepared this ultimate guide to laser-cutting plywood.
Attention: Please allow a ± 1/2 inch variation for length and width sizes and a ±1/50 inch variation in thickness.

Sheets are of good quality and cut well. Unfortunately a number of sheets were bowed and/or warped.

Basswood

Basswood is one of my favorite wood to work with. It’s light in color so I love how the embossing shows up on the wood. Any material that I have purchased from Xtool has been good quality. The wood is packaged very well and is very flat when you receive it. This makes your project easier to design. Good job Xtool thanks for your excellent materials.
