The accessory kit for RA2 pro has two main features that enhance the RA2 Pro. First is the ability to easily tilt the chuck so that the cup or glass surface you're engraving on is level. The second is the laser line which makes it easier to line up the laser with your chuck-mounted work. The only downside is you need to do some disassembly/reassembly when you want to switch to using the rollers as the motor and chuck need to be mounted to a different base.

I was having trouble getting a consistent engraving on irregularly shaped tumblers until I received the accessory kit. It helps level out the tumbler so effortlessly. No more stacking things under the RA2 and worrying that it might be unstable.

If you have any plans at all to ever engrave a mug or other item that requires the RA2 Pro, you absolutely need an accessory kit. My only regret is not realizing it was available when Iyou absolutely need an accessory kit. My only regret is not realizing it was available when I purchased the RA two purchased the RA2. The accessory kit allows you to level tumblers that are tapered and also includes an alignment laser, which is helpful but not 100% necessary. If I buy another X tool laser, I will definitely buy the deluxe kit from the get go. The only thing that would make this better is if X tool found a way to synchronize multiple rotary chucks so you can mass produce mugs instead of doing the one at a time.

I really like the tilt mechanism of the accessory kit. It makes things much easier. The center finder is a great addition as well.

I wish that the mechanism was raised up a bit more to make clearing mug handles easier.

Also, the angle pieces are way too sticky. Since you have to move the whole thing around when you change mug sizes you have to reposition those frequently and pulling them back up is nearly impossible the first few times. It would be better if they were magnetic.
